New Attack on Titan 3DS Game's Teaser Video Reveals

The Game will get Treasure Box edition with bonus content, exclusive 3DS theme

The official website of AOT began streaming a teaser for the game on Tuesday. The video reeals the game's March 30 release date in Japan, and notes that a different promotional movie will be unveiled on November 30.

The site and the video also reveal the contents of the game's Treasure Box edition, which includes a visual book, the soundtrack, two waterproof posters, six large tin badges, and exclusive 3DS theme featuring voices of the characters Mikasa and Levi. The standard edition will cost 5,800 yen (about US$53), while the Treasure Box edition will cost 12,800 yen (about US$118). First-print copies of the standard edition will contain an exclusive 3DS theme featuring the voice of Eren, while first-print copies of the Treasure Box edition will contain the Eren theme, as well as a voiced theme featuring Erwin.

The game features an original story. The player character is a member of the Survey Crops who is investing a certain castle outside the walls. Titans attack and the player falls into the castle's basement with broken 3D maneuver gear. The player must then reconvene with allies - including familiar characters form the anime - and escape the mysterious castle.
KOEI Tecmo's Ruby Party team (Neo Romance series of otome game) is developing the game alongside the television anime's visual staff.
KOEI Tecmo Game's Omega Force subsidiary (Warriors/Musou franchise) developed the A.O.T: Wings of Freedom for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita, which shipped in Japan in February. KOEI Tecmo released the game in the America and Europe in August and added Xbox One and PC releases. The game was set during the Battle of Trost, but extra mussions allowed the player to go beyond the naime's story.
