In a follow-up to the September news that a new Gintama TV anime was being planned, TV Tokyo has started listing that Hideaki Sorachi's alt-history-sci-fi-action-comedy will return late-night between January 8 and 9 at 1:35am.The series was last adapted in the Spring 2015-Winter 2016 Gintama°. It and earlier seasons had been running at 6:00pm - which has been cause for complaints in the past.
